This Privacy Policy explains how BillableStack (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit billablestack.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and, where applicable, US state privacy laws.

Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect and why

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to reply to you. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
  • Newsletter (when available): your email address, used to send the newsletter you signed up for. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
  • Analytics: if you accept statistics cookies, aggregated and pseudonymised usage data (pages visited, device, approximate location) to understand which content is useful. Legal basis: consent.
  • Advertising and affiliate links: if you accept marketing cookies, ad partners such as Google may use cookies to show and measure ads. When you click an affiliate link, the destination vendor may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. Legal basis: consent.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider automatically processes IP addresses and technical data for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

We only set non-essential cookies after you give consent through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We use service providers (processors) that handle data on our behalf under data processing agreements:

  • Hostinger International Ltd. (website hosting, within the EU).
  • Google Ireland Ltd. (analytics and advertising, only with consent).
  • Our email/newsletter provider, once a newsletter is launched.

Some providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 12 months afterwards. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing hello@billablestack.com. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.

US residents: depending on your state, you may have the right to know, delete or correct your personal information and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can exercise these rights through our cookie banner or by emailing us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
